PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. PC-98-07 RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF LA-Z-BOY FURNITURE GALLERIES FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-96-13-1D WHEREAS, La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries has applied for design review approval to construct a 13,600 square foot, one-story retail commercial building on an improved pad at Pleasanton Square II located at 5225 Johnson Drive; and WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - I/C-O (Industrial, Commercial, and Office) District; and WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of January 28, 1998, the Planning Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations ofthe City staff concerning this application; and WHEREAS, a draft Negative Declaration was prepared and approved for PUD-96-13, which considered the development of this building pad; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed building size, orientation to the existing buildings and streets, its proposed use, and its design are appropriate and complementary to the existing Pleasanton Square buildings and development plan. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Approves Case PUD-96-13-ID, the application of La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries for design review approval to construct a 13 ,600 square foot, one-story retail commercial building on an improved pad at Pleasanton Square II located at 5225 Johnson Drive, subject to the conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by reference. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption unless appealed prior to that time.
