<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-98-06 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF SHAKLEE CORPORATION <br />FOR DESIGN REVIEW APPROVAL, AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-81-30-75D <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Shaklee Corporation has applied for design review approval for a phased <br />corporate headquarters campus totaling 625,000 square feet of office, research and <br />development labs, warehousing, and campus services on a 28.7-acre site located at <br />4440 Hacienda Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) - I/C-O (Industrial, <br />Commercial, and Office) and Hacienda Business Park designation of MOIPD <br />(Mixed Office and Industrial Planned Development) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of January 28, 1998, the Planning Commission <br />considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and recommendations of the <br />City staff concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed project is covered by the existing Enviromnental Impact Report <br />previously approved by the City Council for the Hacienda Business Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission determined that the proposed project is well-designed <br />and generally meets the provisions of the Hacienda Design Guidelines. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Approves Case PUD-81-30-75D, the application of Shaklee Corporation for <br />design review approval for a phased corporate headquarters campus totaling <br />625,000 square feet of office, research and development labs, warehousing, and <br />campus services on a 28.7-acre site located at 4440 Hacienda Drive, subject to the <br />conditions shown in Exhibit "B," attached hereto and made part of this case by <br />reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
