CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 821 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 2-7.17(i) AND 2-7.20(1)(a) <br /> OF ARTICLE 9 (I INDUSTRIAL DISTRICTS) OF CHAPTER 2 (ZONING), <br /> TITLE II (ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT) OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF <br /> THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RELATING TO OFFICE USES IN INDUSTRIAL <br /> DISTRICTS. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Section 2-7.17 (Purposes) of Article 9, Chapter 2, Title II <br /> of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is hereby <br /> amended by the deletion therefrom of subsection (i). <br /> <br />Section 2. Subsection (1)(a) of Section 2-7.20 (Permitted Uses) of <br /> Article 9, Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the <br /> City of Pleasanton is amended as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) The use "Regional Administrative offices, includ- <br /> ing computer centers each in excess of 5,000 square <br /> feet of usable space" is hereby deleted. <br /> <br /> (b) The following use is hereby added to this subsection: <br /> <br /> "General Office Uses (including computer <br /> centers) where no office user shall have <br /> less than 2,000 square feet of usable space." <br /> <br />Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />Section 4. This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "THE TIMES," a newspaper <br /> of general circulation, published in the city of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on May 23, 1977. <br /> <br />ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on June 13, 1977 by the following vote: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Her~hy, LeClaire, Mercer and <br /> Mayor Philcox \ <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />ATTEST: ~ ~ <br />.
