CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> SPECIAL AND REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br /> May 16, 2017 <br /> Mayor Thorne called the special meeting to order at the hour of 6:30 p.m. <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Olson, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: Councilmember Pentin <br /> The meeting adjourned to Closed Session for the following purpose: Conference with Labor Negotiators <br /> pursuant to Government Code §54957.6: <br /> Agency representatives: Nelson Fialho and Debra Gill <br /> Employee organization: Pleasanton Police Officers Association <br /> The special meeting adjourned at 6:54 p.m. <br /> Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Narum led <br /> the pledge of allegiance and provided opening remarks <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Olson, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: Councilmember Pentin <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS - None <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Sodergren stated that no action was taken in Closed Session. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> City Manager <br /> 1. Approved Disaster Preparedness Policy for the City of Pleasanton <br /> Community Development <br /> 2. Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> 3. Waived second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 2162 for P16-1386, P17-0155, PUD-113, <br /> and Tract 8259, Ponderosa Homes, at 6900 Valley Trails Drive <br /> 4. Approved and authroized the City Manager to execute an agreement with Cal-West Lighting and <br /> Signal Maintenance, Inc. for traffic signal maintenance and emergency repair services and <br /> authorized the Director of Community Development to review and approve future contract <br /> extensions <br />
