CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br /> June 7, 2016 <br /> Mayor Thome called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Pentin led <br /> the Pledge of Allegiance and provided opening remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Pentin, Mayor Thome <br /> Absent: Councilmember Olson <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS — None <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Sodergren advised that Council met in closed session regarding real property <br /> negotiations for 401 Old Bernal Avenue and that no reportable action was taken. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> City Manager <br /> 1. Approved special meeting minutes of April 19, 2016 regular meeting minutes of May 3 (Thorne <br /> abstained) & 17, 2016 <br /> 2. Waived full reading and adopted Resolution No. 16-862 calling for the holding of a General <br /> Municipal Election to be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, for the election of certain officers as <br /> required by the provisions of the laws of the State of California relating to General Law Cities and <br /> Resolution No. 16-863 requesting the Board of Supervisors of the County of Alameda to <br /> Consolidate a Municipal Election to be held on November 8, 2016 with the Statewide General <br /> Election to be held on the date pursuant to § 10403 of the Elections Code <br /> 3. Authorized the Mayor to author a letter of opposition to Governor's by Right Housing Proposal <br /> Community Development <br /> 4. Waived second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 2145 for PUD-112 and P15-0484, Planned <br /> Unit Development (PUD) Development Plan at 1027 Rose Avenue <br /> 5. Waived second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 2146 for PUD-81-22-15M, Workday for <br /> Planned Unit Development Major Modifications at 6110 and 6120-6160 Stoneridge Mall Road <br /> 6. Public Hearing: PUD-116, Frank Berlogar — Introduced and waived first reading of Ordinance <br /> No. 2147 approving the application of Frank Berlogar Trust for a Planned Unit Development <br /> (PUD) Development Plan at 88 Silver Oaks Court to construct two new single-family residences <br /> and adopted and waived full reading of Resolution No. 16-864 approving a Growth Management <br /> agreement for said project <br /> Councilmember Brown asked whether a raptor study was done relative to Item No. 6. She added that <br /> grading has already begun. Staff responded affirmatively and noted that no raptor species were <br /> observed on the site. <br />
