CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br />March 15, 2016 <br />Vice Mayor Narum called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Pentin <br />led the Pledge of Allegiance and provided opening remarks. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Present: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Olson, Pentin, Mayor Thome <br />Absent: None <br />CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br />Interim City Attorney Julie Harryman met in Closed Session to discussion two items, meeting with its <br />labor negotiator and the PCEA and public employment regarding the City Attorney <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS - None <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />City Manager <br />Approved regular and special meeting minutes of February 2, 2016 <br />Community Development <br />2. Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br />3. Introduced and waived first reading of Ordinance No. 16 -837 amending Title 11, Chapter <br />11.20, Section 11.20.010 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code changing various speed limits on <br />City of Pleasanton streets <br />4. Approved plans and specifications, reviewed bids, awarded and authorized the City Manager to <br />execute a contract with Tim Paxin's Pacific Excavation Inc. in the amount of $507,366 for the <br />Traffic Signal Installation at Amador Valley High School project, CIP No. 155050; approved a <br />reimbursement agreement between the City and Pleasanton Unified School District for the <br />sidewalk construction within the school parking lot; authorized the Director of Community <br />Development to approve and execute contract change orders not to exceed $50,717 and the <br />transfer of $250,000 from the Bi- Annual Traffic Signal Installation project (CIP No. 155032) and <br />$50,600 from the Intersection Improvements at Various Locations project (CIP No. 155041) to <br />CIP No. 155050 <br />Engineering <br />5. Accepted public improvements performed by Suarez & Munoz Construction, Inc. for the Bicycle <br />and Pedestrian Related Improvements - Arroyo Mocho Trail project, CIP No. 115043; <br />authorized the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion, payment of retention in the amount of <br />$4,881.46, and the transfer of the project balance of $103,194 to Measure B (Bike and Ped) <br />Fund (Fund 573) <br />6. Accepted public improvements performed by Rosas Brothers Construction for the Annual Curb <br />and Gutter Replacement project, CIP No. 145009; authorized the City Clerk to file a Notice of <br />Completion and the payment of retention in the amount of $16,380.55 <br />
