RESOLUTION NO. 16 -839 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ACCEPTING THE MIDYEAR FY 2015 -16 OPERATING BUDGET AND AMENDING THE <br />FY 2015 -16 OPERATING BUDGET ACCORDINGLY <br />WHEREAS, staff periodically presents to the City Council reports regarding the financial <br />condition of the City along with any recommendations for budget amendments and technical <br />corrective actions needed; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council formally adopted the FY 2015 -16 Operating Budget <br />( "Budget ") on June 16, 2015; and <br />WHEREAS, staff prepared and presented to the City Council a Midyear Budget update <br />that includes recommended amendments to the Budget. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER THE <br />FOLLOWING: <br />SECTION 1: It ratifies adjustments approved by the City Manager and funded from the <br />contingency totaling $588,557. <br />SECTION 2: It amends the Budget, as outlined in Attachment 1 <br />PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br />a regular meeting held on March 15, 2016. <br />I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the forgoing <br />resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 15"' day of March <br />2016, by the following vote: <br />Ayes: <br />Councilmembers Brown <br />Noes: <br />None <br />Absent: <br />None <br />Abstain: <br />None <br />Narum, Olson, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br />are Diaz, City <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br />Julie Harryman, Interim City Attorney <br />
