FOR THE BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN RELATED <br /> IMPROVEMENTS AT ARROYO MOCHO TRAIL PROJECT, CIP NO. 115043 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Bicycle and Pedestrian Related Improvements at Arroyo Mocho Trail project <br /> consisted of paving the existing gravel trail on the south side of the Arroyo Mocho canal <br /> between Sutter Gate Avenue and Guzman Drive with three test surfaces, including <br /> TerraPave, pervious concrete, and asphalt with fabric. Construction of the project is <br /> complete and ready for acceptance. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Accept the improvements for the project. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion. <br /> 3. Authorize payment of the retention in the amount of$43,881.46 to Suarez & Munoz <br /> Construction, Inc., thirty days after recordation of the Notice of Completion. <br /> 4. Authorize transfer of the project balance of $103,194 to Measure B (Bike and Ped) <br /> Fund (Fund 573). <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The funding for this project totaled $1,013,326 as outlined in Attachment 1. Expenditures <br /> totaled $909,056, leaving a balance of $104,270. Since CIP No. 115043, Bicycle and <br /> Pedestrian Related Improvements, was originally funded to provide a funding source for <br /> multiple improvements, $1,076 was also previously used from this project to pay for <br /> installation of an in-pavement flasher controller near Harvest Park Middle School, leaving <br /> an actual funding balance of$103,194. <br />
