CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> REGULAR MEETING MINUTES <br /> November 3, 2015 <br /> Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Pentin led <br /> the Pledge of Allegiance and provided introductory remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Narum, Olson, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: None <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Jonathan Lowell reported the City Council met in Closed Session to discuss two items. <br /> One discussed was Conference with Legal Counsel regarding Anticipated Litigation, Significant <br /> Exposure to Litigation. The basis for this was an October 26, 2015 letter from the Cox, Castle, <br /> Nicholson law firm regarding Lunch Ranch II project which the Council will be hearing on November 17, <br /> 2015. A copy of the letter will be included in the packet for that public hearing. The other matter <br /> Conference with Labor Negotiators was not held and staff will schedule it for a future meeting. <br /> • <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> City Manager Fialho stated Item 11, which relates to a Planned Unit Development associated with <br /> Greenbriar Homes in the area of Lunch Ranch, has been continued to November 17, 2015. <br /> Mayor Thorne requested to move up Item 13 on the agenda ahead of other public hearings. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> City Manager <br /> 1. Approved the appointment of Mayor Thorne and Councilmember Pentin (alternate) to the Tri- <br /> Valley Regional Rail Advisory Group <br /> Vice-Mayor Brown asked and confirmed that Mayor Thorn supported having Councilmember Pentin <br /> serve as the alternate. <br /> Community Development <br /> 2. Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> Community Services <br /> 3. Approved Harding Park as the permanent name for the neighborhood park to be constructed at <br /> the intersection of Gibraltar Drive and Hacienda Drive <br /> 4. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute an addendum to the agreement between <br /> the the City of Pleasanton and Pleasanton Unified School District regarding shared use of the <br /> tennis courts at Amador Valley High School <br /> Vice-Mayor Brown said she has heard feedback about people who do not know when tennis courts are <br /> available and she asked that a sign be posted as to when public use is available. <br />
