THE CITY OF <br />pLEASANTONC <br />CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br />4 <br />July 21, 2015 <br />City Manager <br />TITLE: DESIGNATION OF VOTING DELEGATE AND ALTERNATES FOR THE 2015 <br />LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES ANNUAL CONFERENCE <br />SUMMARY <br />The League's 2015 Annual Conference is scheduled for September 30 — October 2, in San <br />Jose. An important part of this Conference is the Annual Business Meeting. At this meeting, the <br />League membership considers and takes action on resolutions that establish League policy. In <br />order to vote on the proposed resolutions the City Council must designate a voting delegate in <br />advance of the conference. <br />The current Council representative to the League of Califomia Cities East Bay Division is Mayor <br />Thome and consistent with past practice, he would serve as the voting delegate. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Designate Mayor Thome as the City's voting delegate for the 2015 League of Califomia Cities <br />Annual Conference. <br />FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br />There is no financial impact as a result of this action. <br />Nelson Fialho <br />City Manager <br />
