CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> June 2, 2015 <br /> Community Development Department <br /> TITLE: ADOPT A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN APPLICATION WITH THE <br /> METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION FOR ALLOCATON <br /> OF TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT (TDA) ARTICLE 3 FUNDS <br /> FOR BICYCLE LANES AT THE 1-580 OVERCROSSINGS TO IMPROVE <br /> BICYCLE CONNECTIVITY BETWEEN PLEASANTON AND DUBLIN <br /> SUMMARY <br /> This report recommends that the City Council adopt the attached resolution approving <br /> the application with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) for <br /> Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article 3 funds for the bicycle lanes at the 1-580 <br /> overcrossings. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Adopt a resolution authorizing an application with the Metropolitan Transportation <br /> Commission (MTC) for $190,140 in Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article 3 <br /> funds for the installation and/or improvements of bicycle lanes at the 1-580 <br /> overcrossings between the cities of Pleasanton and Dublin. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> TDA Article 3 funds are to be added to the Measure B funds being allocated to the <br /> Annual Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvement project, CIP No. 155043 in order to fund <br /> the bicycle lanes at the 1-580 overcrossings. <br />
