THE CITY OF
{, 15
fo- ., !
pLEASANTONa CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT
March 17, 2015
City Manager
TITLE: ADOPTION OF 2015/2016 CITY COUNCIL WORK PLAN PRIORITIES
SUMMARY
At its meeting of June 4, 2013, the City Council adopted the 2013/2014 City Council
Work Plan. Since that time, staff has been engaged in addressing the plan's individual
priority projects and has provided the City Council with updates regarding the overall
progress made toward achieving the priorities through early 2015. On March 10, 2015,
the City Council conducted a workshop to review the most recent project updates, to
allow for public comment on any Work Plan goal, project description or project status,
and to provide the City Council with an opportunity reaffirm and/or suggest modifications
to the Work Plan. The results of the Council's direction from that workshop are reflected
in the draft 2015/2016 Council Work Plan, which is being presented for the City
Council's consideration and adoption.
RECOMMENDATION
Adopt and/or modify the 2015/2016 City Council Work Plan Priorities as attached.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT
There is no direct financial impact as a result of this report. However, many of the
projects included in the work plan have a financial impact that will be addressed through
the City's Operating and Capital Improvement Program budgets.
