ORDINANCE NO. 2107 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF CHRYSLER-JEEP-DODGE FOR <br /> PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL, <br /> AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-106 <br /> WHEREAS, Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge has applied for Planned Unit Development <br /> plan approval to construct an automobile dealership consisting of an approximately <br /> 31,792-square-foot building with a 2,175-square-foot service canopy and <br /> 1,250-square-foot car wash, and related site improvements on the Auto Mall site at <br /> Staples Ranch (the "Project"); and <br /> WHEREAS, zoning for the property is Planned Unit Development— Commercial <br /> (PUD-C) District; and <br /> WHEREAS, after a July 2014 workshop, at its meeting of August 27, 2014, the <br /> Planning Commission adopted Resolution PC-2014-44, determining that the proposed <br /> development plan is appropriate for the site, making findings, and recommending to the <br /> Pleasanton City Council that PUD-106 be approved; and <br /> WHEREAS, on September 16, 2014, the City Council held a duly noticed public <br /> hearing on this application and considered all public testimony, agenda reports, and <br /> related materials, and the recommendations of City staff and the Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council determines that the conditions described in <br /> California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15162 have not <br /> occurred and find that the previously prepared EIR and SEIR, including the adopted <br /> CEQA Findings and Statement of Overriding Considerations for the Stoneridge Drive <br /> Specific Plan Amendment/Staples Ranch are adequate to serve as the environmental <br /> documentation for this project and satisfy all the requirements of CEQA; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Pleasanton City Council finds that the proposed PUD <br /> development plan is consistent with the City's General Plan, the Stoneridge Drive <br /> Specific Plan Amendment/Staples Ranch and purposes of the PUD ordinance, and by <br /> this reference adopts and reaffirms all of the considerations and findings set forth in <br /> Planning Commission Resolution PC-2014-44. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. It approves Case PUD-106, the application of Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge <br /> for Planned Unit Development plan to construct an automobile dealership consisting of <br /> an approximately 31,792-square-foot building with a 2,175-square-foot service canopy <br /> • <br />
