RESOLUTION NO. 14-676 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br /> APPROVING SIGN DESIGN REVIEW, AS FILED UNDER CASE NO. P13-2518 <br /> WHEREAS, CarMax Auto Superstores has made an application to the City for Sign <br /> Design Review for project-related signage for the automobile dealership proposed on <br /> approximately 19.66 acres of the Auto Mall site at Staples Ranch, filed under Case No. P13- <br /> 2518; and <br /> WHEREAS, after a February 2014 workshop, at its meeting of April 9, 2014, the <br /> Planning Commission found that the proposed Sign Design Review is appropriate for the project <br /> and adopted Resolution PC-2014-15, recommending to the Pleasanton City Council that Sign <br /> Design Review application P13-2518 be approved; and <br /> WHEREAS, a duly-noticed public hearing was held by the City Council on May 6, <br /> 2014, at which tithe the public was given the opportunity to comment on Sigh Design Review <br /> application P13-2518; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council considered all the information presented at the public <br /> hearing regarding the proposed signage under Sign Design Review application P13-2518. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. It finds that the proposed Sign Design Review application is consistent with <br /> the City's General Plan and the Stoneridge Drive Specific Plan Amendment/Staples Ranch <br /> Specific Plan. <br /> SECTION 2. It approves the Sign Design Review application subject to conditions in <br /> Exhibit A-2, a copy of which is attached hereto incorporated herein by this reference; <br /> SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon the effective date <br /> of the ordinances approving the PUD development plan for this project. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on May 6, 2014. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 6th day of May <br /> 2014, by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Brown, Cook-Kallio, Narum, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: Councilmember Pentin <br /> Abstain: None <br /> 6 <br /> Ka`re Diaz, CityClef(Z1 <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> � C, <br /> Jonathan-E6well, City Attorney <br /> 1 <br />
