RESOLUTION NO. 14-669 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> APPROVING THE ANNUAL PROGRESS REPORT ON IMPLEMENTATION OF THE <br /> GENERAL PLAN HOUSING ELEMENT FOR THE CALENDAR YEAR 2013 AND <br /> AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL TO THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING <br /> AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR'S OFFICE <br /> OF PLANNING AND RESEARCH <br /> WHEREAS, California Government Code Section 65400 requires cities to prepare an <br /> annual report on the status of, and progress on the implementation of, the General Plan <br /> Housing Element, and to submit that report to various State agencies by April 1st; and <br /> WHEREAS, a Housing Element.Annual Progress Report for the 2013 calendar year had <br /> been prepared; and <br /> WHEREAS, on March 18, 2014 the City Council of the City of Pleasanton reviewed the <br /> report. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> Section 1. The report accurately reflects the City's progress in implementing the General <br /> Plan Housing Element. <br /> Section 2. The City Council authorizes submittal of the attached Pleasanton Housing <br /> Element Annual Progress Report - 2013 to the California Department of Housing and <br /> Community Development, and the Governor's Office.of Planning and Research, as required by <br /> statute. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of Pleasanton at a regular meeting <br /> held on March 18, 2014. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 18th day of March <br /> 2014, by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Brown, Cook-Kallio, Narum, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: None <br /> are Diaz, City Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> J an Lowell, City Attorney <br />
