MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> February 18, 2014 <br /> Mayor Thorne called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Pentin led <br /> the Pledge of Allegiance and provided introductory remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Brown, Cook-Kallio, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Absent: Councilmember Narum <br /> CLOSED SESSION REPORT <br /> City Attorney Lowell reported the Council met in Closed Session on three items. On two items the <br /> Council conferred with legal counsel regarding anticipated litigation. Thirdly, the Council met with labor <br /> negotiators to discuss negotiations with the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 1974 and <br /> Pleasanton Police Officers Association.No further reportable action was taken on any item. <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> City Manager Fialho stated that. Item 7, Public Hearing: P13-2028 was continued by the applicant to <br /> March 4, 2014. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Administrative Services <br /> 1. Approved regular and special meeting minutes of January 21,2014 <br /> Community Development <br /> 2. Actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> 3. Waived second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 2089 amending Chapter 18.88 (Off-Street <br /> Parking Facilities) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code to modify parking requirements in exchange <br /> for fulfilling objectives of the Downtown Specific Plan, as filed under Case No. P13-2458 <br /> Operations Services <br /> 4. Approved an appropriation in the amount of $118,698 to DSRSD from the City's Recycled Water <br /> Fund for the recycled water related improvements included as part of the Val Vista Park Recycled <br /> Water Retrofit Project <br /> 5. Approved and authorized the City Manager to execute a professional services contract with SMB <br /> Environmental, Inc. in the amount of $49,924 for environmental review of the Recycled Water <br /> Project; and approved an appropriation of$49,024 from the Recycled Water Fund <br /> MOTION: It was m/s by Brown/Cook-Kallio, to approve the Consent Calendar, as amended.
