TOTJN OF PLEASANTON Resolution Tdo. 2031 SYHEREAS, the State of California, under Chapter 20, Statutes oP 1946 (First Extra Session), as amended, has appropriated Ytmds Yor allotment to provide for financial assistance to Local Agencies, defined therein as counties, cities and counties, or cities, so that they may engage in a large public worka construction program in order to prevent and alleviate unemployment; and Y9HEREA3, the Town o4 Pleasanton hereinafter designated "Local Agency" desires to apply for an allotment of State aid for the construc- tion oY a public works project under said Act; and WHEREAS, an application to the State Director of Finance for such an allotment has been prepared and presented to this Legislative Body for consideration; and ~'PHEREA3, Local Agency has made provisions for paying that por- tion bf the cost of the project not requested as an allotment from the State; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Local Agency submit the aYoresaid application for State aid for construction of s public worka project to the Director of Finance, requesting an allotment of eleven thousand three. hundred fifty-one andL7/100 Dollars (9~11_a51.z7T rir a allotment o Board; as may be allotted oy the Stiate Allocation BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Local Agency hereby certifies that the total estimate of cost to be paid for the construction of Sewage Treatment Plant Yor which Local Agency is making application under said Act is one hundred twenty seven thousand nine hundred thirteen and nn /1nh Dn11 o,.a ~:~»v vu nn .,.,a BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Local Agency hereby requests the State to pay the State's share of the total actual cost of oonstro.ction oY the project Yor which Local Agency is making application for aid; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that for the purpose of this request Earl TriminRham, l[a_vor City Hall Pleasanton California, be, and he hereby is, designated as the authorized agent of Local Agency, and is hereby authorized and directed to sign the herein mentioned application oY Local Agency and to submit the same to the State Direotor of Finance together with a certified statement of the total estimated post to be paid Yor construction oY the project herein mentioned and such other information as may be re4uired; and said authorized agent is Yurther authorized and directed as representative of Local Agency to conduct all negotiations and conolude all arrangements, with either the State Allo- eation Board or the Director oi' Financ®, including requests for payment oY the State's share of the cost o3 the construotion of the sYorementioned public worka project. introduced at sn adjourned regular meeting oY the Council of the Town oY Pleasanton held on March 18, 1949, and passed by the Yollow- ing vote: AYES: Councilmen 73„ ,~,,_ y,.; ~..:..._ ~ -~- NOES: Councilmen r`~:,:, ,~ ABSENT: Councilmen ;,• ~, Approved this 18th day of March, 1949. ,,~~+ .
