RESOLUTION NO. 1905 RESOLUTION DECi~,~ING i~ULTS O~' ELECTION WH/~REAS, a general municipal Town of Pleasanton, on Tuesday, by law, election was held end conducted in the the 9th day of ~pril.1946 as required AHD W~]REAS, it appears that notice of said election was duly given, that voting precincts were properly established, that election of~fice~'s were appointed and eledtion supplies furnished, and that in all respects said election was held and conducted and the votes cast thereat received and canvassed, and the returns thereof made, determined and declared in time, form and manner as required by the general laws of the State providing for and regulating municipa. 1 elections in cities of the fifth and sixth class~ AND W~P~AS, Counc il Chamber the City Council of said Town of Pleasanton met at the thereof on Tuesday, the 16th day of April,1946 at 8 P.M. to cozuut the ballots cast by absentee voters an~ to canvass the returns of said election, and ins~ll the newly elected officers; AND WHEREAS, the Council finds as a result of said canvass that the number of votes cast, the names of the persons voted for, and the matters required by law, to be as P=eeinafter stated; NOW T~V~OR~ IT IS H~EBY ~SOLVED,DETEi~[INED, AND DECLARED as follows: That said regualr municipal election was held and conducted in the Town of Pleasanton on Tuesday, the 9th day of ~pril,1946, in time, form, and manner as required by law. That there was one voting precinct established in said Town for the purpose of holding said election, as follows: Consolidated Precinct "A" composed of Pleasanton Precincts Nos. l, 2 and 3 established for holding state and county elections; That the whole number of votes ~oted said election was 296.
