O <br /> <br /> ~ESOLUTION NO. ~_~ <br /> <br />RESOLU£ION DECLARING RESULT OF ELECTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a general munieipaI election was held and <br /> <br />conducted in the Toms of Pleasanton, on TUESDAY, the 14th <br /> <br />day of April, 19A~, as required by law, <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, it appears that notice of said election <br /> <br />was duly given, that voting precincts were properly established, <br />that election officers were appointed and election supplies <br />furnished, and that in all respects said election was held <br />an~ eonducted and the votes cast thereat received and canvassed, <br />and the returns thereof, made, determined and declared in time, <br />form and m~ner as required by the general l~ws of the state <br />px~viding for a~d regulating municipal elections in cities of <br />the fifth and sixth class, <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the city council of said ~own of Pleasanton met <br />at the Council chamber thereof on ~onday, the 20th day of April, <br />1~, to canvass the returms of said election and the ballots of <br />those absent voters who had voted, and install the newly elected <br />officers; and w~ereas the council finds as a result of said canvass <br />that the n~u~ber of votes cast, the names of the persons voted for, <br />am~ other matters required by law, to be as hereinafter stated, <br />now therefore it is hereby <br /> <br /> RESOLVED, determined and declared as follows: <br /> <br /> That said regular municipal election was hel~ and conducted in <br /> the Town of Pleasanton on TUESDAY, the lath day of April, 19A~, in <br /> time, form and manner as reQuire~ by law. <br /> <br /> That there was one voting precinct established in said Town <br /> for the purpose of holding said election, as follows: <br /> <br /> Consolidated~Precinct "A" composed of Pleasanton Precincts <br /> Nos. 1, 2, and $ established for holding state and county elections; <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
