AGREEMENT FOR COORDINATED RESPONSE <br /> (RUBY HILL/VINEYARD AVENUE) <br /> This Agreement is entered into this a 7 day of <br /> N) C4 <br /> tic , 1994 , between the City of Livermore, a <br /> California municipal corporation ("Livermore") and the City of <br /> Pleasanton, a California municipal corporation ("Pleasanton") . <br /> R E C I T A L S <br /> WHEREAS, Pleasanton and Livermore would like to establish a <br /> coordinated, continuing emergency response for areas in <br /> Pleasanton, shown on Exhibit A, and in Livermore, shown on <br /> Exhibit B; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. Term. <br /> This Agreement shall commence when signed by both <br /> parties and shall continue indefinitely. Either party may <br /> terminate this Agreement upon 30 days written notice to the <br /> other. <br /> 2 . Emeraencv Response. <br /> a. Livermore shall, resources permitting, provide an <br /> initial incident response to the Ruby Hill development and <br /> from that portion of Vineyard Avenue, west of Isabel Avenue <br /> to the 90 degree turn at the Heinz property, (1400 block of <br /> Vineyard Avenue) see boundary on Exhibit "A. " <br /> b. Pleasanton shall, resources permitting, send an <br /> appropriate simultaneous response to the areas described in <br /> subparagraph a, above. <br /> c. The Livermore and Pleasanton Fire Chiefs also <br /> agree to have appropriate staff personnel, from each <br /> department, meet to establish operational procedures for <br /> emergency responses to these areas, and to review these <br /> procedures for functionality on a regular basis once <br /> operational. <br /> d. Pleasanton shall, resources permitting, and after <br /> it has established an emergency response team on or near the <br /> Ruby Hill property, respond to that portion of Livermore <br /> shown on Exhibit "B. " <br /> - 1 - <br />
