THE CITY OF _ <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT 2 <br /> pL£ASANTON® <br /> November 5, 2013 <br /> Mayor and City Council <br /> TITLE: COMMISSION AND COMMITTEE APPOINTMENTS <br /> SUMMARY <br /> In accordance with commission appointment policies, in the spring and fall the City <br /> solicits applications from interested Pleasanton residents to serve on the City's standing <br /> commissions and committees, as well as on regional boards and commissions to which <br /> the City appoints representatives. <br /> This fall, the City solicited applications to fill vacancies for terms expiring on September <br /> 30, 2013. Applications were received and interviews held. The Mayor's appointments <br /> are listed on the following page. To ensure continuity in service to the extent possible, <br /> the Mayor has included those commissioners who, as a result of other openings, are <br /> changing status from alternates to regular members. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> The Council is asked to ratify the Mayor's appointments to various City commissions <br /> and committees as listed on the attached table. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no fiscal impact. <br /> Approved by: <br /> kb7 <br /> Nelson Fialho <br /> City Manager <br />
