FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATIONS ON <br /> STONERIDGE DRIVE AT NEWTON WAY, GUZMAN PARKWAY, AND <br /> TREVOR PARKWAY, CIP NO. 115036 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The project consisted of furnishing and installing three traffic signals on Stoneridge <br /> Drive at the Newton Way, Guzman Parkway, and Trevor Parkway intersections. The <br /> project includes traffic signal equipment, traffic signal interconnect equipment, and <br /> miscellaneous concrete work including modification of existing curb ramps to comply <br /> with ADA requirements. Construction of the project is complete and ready for <br /> acceptance. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Accept improvements for the subject project. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for the subject project. <br /> 3. Authorize payment of the retention in the amount of $35,523.05 to Tim Paxin's <br /> Pacific Excavation, Inc. thirty days after recordation of the Notice of Completion. <br /> 4. Authorize the transfer of $5,726 from the Staples Ranch: Irrigation and Landscaping <br /> Improvements at El Charro Road and 1-580 project (CIP NO. 115023) to CIP No. <br /> 115036 to fund the overage amount of this project. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The project was funded through the Capital Improvement Program (CIP #115036). <br /> Available funding totaled $800,000, however, expenses for the project totaled $805,726. <br /> Staff is recommending a transfer of $5,726 in unused funds from the Staples Ranch: <br /> Irrigation and Landscaping Improvements at El Charro Road and 1-580 project, CIP No. <br /> 115023. A budget summary is attached (Attachment 1). <br />
