It will have many benefits to our <br /> community: <br /> Improved housing stock at relatively moderate prices, more homes ( customers ) in downtowi; street and sidewalk <br /> improvements; much improved curb appeal for the neighborhood; encourage more neighborhood upgrades; very <br /> attractive home elevations.This project is a win-win-win for the community. I particularly like the locking gate that <br /> allows pedestrian access to Vervais Ave. making people a little closer to Main St. <br /> Regarding the existing eyesore house. In my opinion it is an attractive nuisance. Candidly I really believe it is a firetrap <br /> and a liability for everyone. <br /> I will probably not be able to attend the 8/20 Council meeting so please accept this as my to;timony. <br /> For sake of disclosure I do own the building at 927 Main and anticipate that my lessees with enjoy additional business <br /> with new homes less than one block away. <br /> Thank You for your consideration.
