CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> August 20, 2013 <br /> Community Development <br /> Planning Division <br /> TITLE: CONFIRM ONE NEW MEMBER OF THE AD HOC EAST PLEASANTON <br /> SPECIFIC PLAN TASK FORCE <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The 19-member East Pleasanton Specific Plan Task Force currently consists of two <br /> Planning Commissioners, one Housing Commissioner, one Parks and Recreation <br /> Commissioner, two major property owners; one representative from Zone 7 Water <br /> Agency; six neighborhood representatives; and six at-large members. As a result of the <br /> June appointment of Nancy Allen to the Planning Commission, the Danbury Park <br /> neighborhood representative position is vacant. Staff is seeking confirmation of a new <br /> representative for the Danbury Park neighborhood. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> The Danbury Park HOA recently nominated Robert Gonella for this position, and staff is <br /> now seeking City Council confirmation. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Staff recommends that the City Council confirm the appointment of Robert Gonella to <br /> serve on the East Pleasanton Specific Plan Task Force as a representative for the <br /> Danbury Park neighborhood. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There will be no fiscal impact for the City as a result of replacing a Task Force member <br /> on the East Pleasanton Specific Plan Task Force, as support will continue to be provided <br /> by City staff members. <br /> Submitt d by: Approved v: <br /> i: I ii\---Brian Dolan Nel on ial iio <br /> Director of Community Development City Manager <br />
