THE CITY OF 2 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT 1 <br /> PL£ASANTON. <br /> July 16, 2013 <br /> City Manager <br /> TITLE: DESIGNATION OF VOTING DELEGATE FOR THE 2013 LEAGUE OF <br /> CALIFORNIA CITIES ANNUAL CONFERENCE <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The League of California Cities 2013 Annual Conference is scheduled for September 18-20 in <br /> Sacramento. An important part of this Conference is the Annual Business Meeting. At this <br /> meeting, the League membership considers and takes action on resolutions that establish <br /> League policy. In order to vote on the proposed resolutions the City Council must designate a <br /> voting delegate in advance of the conference. <br /> The current Council representative to the League of California Cities East Bay Division is Mayor <br /> Thorne and consistent with past practice, he would serve as the voting delegate. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Designate Mayor Thorne as the City's voting delegate for the 2013 League of California Cities <br /> Annual Conference. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no financial impact as a result of this action. <br /> Su mit d by: <br /> 7 <br /> N son Fialho <br /> City Manager <br />
