THE CITY OF 17 B <br /> pL£ASANTON, CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> May 7, 2013 <br /> Assistant City Manager <br /> TITLE: APPROVE THE ANNUAL ACTION PLAN (FY 2013-14) FOR THE USE OF <br /> FEDERAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Pleasanton will receive approximately $228,000 in federal CDBG funds for federal <br /> Fiscal Year 2013 (2013/14). At the May 7 meeting, the Council is also expected to take <br /> action regarding the allocation of federal CDBG funds for FY 2013 as part of the <br /> allocation of Housing and Human Services Grant (HHSG) funding to local non-profit <br /> agencies. This report summarizes the Annual Action Plan that must be submitted to <br /> HUD in order for the City to receive its FY 2013 allocation of CDBG funds. The report <br /> makes a recommendation to approve this document. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve the Annual Action Plan for federal Fiscal Year 2013 and direct staff to submit to <br /> HUD by the applicable deadline. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The approval of the annual Action Plan will not have a direct fiscal impact on the City. <br /> As noted earlier, the City will receive approximately $228,000 in CDBG funds for <br /> FY 2013 (2013/14). <br />
