MINUTES <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> June 5, 2012 <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Hosterman called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember <br /> McGovern lead the Pledge of Allegiance and she provided introductory remarks. <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Present: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br /> Absent: None <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> City Manager Fialho suggested and received Council support to hear Item 15, conclude the regular <br /> Council meeting, and then convene the special workshop to hear Item 14. <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Administrative Services <br /> 1. Waived second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 2040 to amend the contract between the <br /> California Public Employees' Retirement System and the City of Pleasanton to include Section <br /> 20475 (Different Level of benefits), Section 21363.1 (3% @ 55 Full Formula) and Section 20037 <br /> (three-year final compensation) providing a different tier of retirement benefits for new employees <br /> covered by Pleasanton Police Officers' Association <br /> Community Development <br /> 2. Accepted actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission <br /> 3. Authorized the City Manager to approve a contract with Metropolitan Planning Group for planning <br /> services in the amount of $ 48,960 provide a contract planner as a temporary replacement for a <br /> planner on leave <br /> 4. Public Hearing: P12-0754, City of Pleasanton — Adopted Resolution No. 12-541 authorizing <br /> amendments to the City of Pleasanton General Plan Housing Element, Program 9.7 and Policy <br /> 37, which program and policy apply City-wide <br /> Mayor Hosterman noted that the item is a result of City's settlement agreement with Urban Habitat and <br /> referred to the draft resolution for specific information on the proposed amendments. <br /> Community Services <br /> 5. Approved the location of the public artwork, "Wind Song" in Centennial Community Park <br /> Councilmember McGovern acknowledged the Harrington's latest gift to the City. <br /> 6. Approved the Eastern Alameda County 2011 Human Services Needs Assessment: Findings <br /> Report <br />
