CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> COUNTY OF ALAMEDA <br /> $'I-ATE OF CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />the unrepealed sections of <br />as amended, the city shall <br />hillside land: <br /> <br />RESOLVED: <br /> <br /> 1. The City desires to create building sites and drive- <br />ways in the hillside areas of the city with minimum cuts and fills <br /> <br /> 2. In enforcing interim zoning Ordinance No. 293, and <br /> the original zoning Ordinance No. 225, <br /> apply the following standards for <br /> <br /> a) The minimum total lot area shall be increased <br /> by 200 square feet, and each lot width shall be <br /> increased two feet6 for each 1% of slope in excess <br /> of 10% measured 90 to the contour. <br /> <br /> b) Where slopes are in excess of 25%, each individual <br /> lot shall be inspected by the City Engineer to <br /> determine whether or not a building site does exist. <br /> <br /> 3. The council and planning commission shall encourage <br />sound grading practices rather than use these hillside standards <br />to decrease densities of dwelling units per acre. Accordingly~ <br />these hillside standards may be modified or disregarded where a <br />subdivider assures the council that he will build houses to fit <br />hillside terrain without excessive cutting and filling on minimum <br />size lots permitted in that area. <br /> <br />ADOPTEI;: Januar~2~. 1960. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />May r <br /> <br />~ity CleYk <br /> <br /> <br />
