MINUTES CITY OF PLEASANTON REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING May 15, 2012 CALL TO ORDER Mayor Hosterman called the regular meeting to order at the hour of 7:00 p.m. Councilmember Cook- Kallio lead the Pledge of Allegiance and he provided introductory remarks. ROLL CALL Present: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman Absent: None CLOSED SESSION REPORT Assistant City Attorney Seto reported that the Council met in Closed Session on two items. With regard to Item 1, Conference with Real Property Negotiators for the property located at 3835 Vineyard Avenue, the Council provided to direction to the City's negotiating party. With regard to Item 2, Conference with Labor Negotiators, information was given to the City Council. AGENDA AMENDMENTS City Manager Fialho reported that Item 12; Approval of a new memorandum of agreement for participation in the Alameda County Clean Water program, is continued to the next regular Council meeting. CONSENT CALENDAR Administrative Services 1. Approved regular meeting minutes of April 17, 2012 2. Waived full reading and adopted Resolution No. 12-531 giving notice of intent to approve an amendment to the contract between the City of Pleasanton and the Board of Administration of the Public Employees' Retirement System, and waived full reading and introduced Ordinance No. 2040 to amend the contract between California Public Employees' Retirement System (CaIPERS) and the City of Pleasanton to provide Section 20475 (Different Level of Benefits), Section 21363.1 (3% @ 55 Full Formula) and Section 20037 (Three-Year Final Compensation) providing a second tier of retirement benefits for new Police Officers' Association (POA) employees City Attorney 3.
