6 <br /> THE CITY OF <br /> „ CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTONO <br /> June 5, 2012 <br /> Community Services <br /> TITLE: APPROVE THE EASTERN ALAMEDA COUNTY 2011 HUMAN <br /> SERVICES NEEDS ASSESSMENT: FINDINGS REPORT <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Pursuant to the City Council's direction, the City of Pleasanton partnered with the cities <br /> of Dublin and Livermore to update the 2003 Tri-Valley Human Services Needs <br /> Assessment. The cities have worked with its consultants Resource Development <br /> Associates to assess the current and future conditions of the Tri-Valley region's Human <br /> Services Delivery Network, identify service gaps, and provide recommendations to <br /> strengthen delivery efforts and identify service priorities for federal and local grant <br /> programs. Resource Development Associates (RDA) completed the Eastern Alameda <br /> County 2011 Human Services Needs Assessment: Findings Report earlier this year, <br /> and presented the information to the City Council and Human Services Commission at a <br /> Joint Meeting on January 24, 2012. The Eastern Alameda County 2011 Human <br /> Services Needs Assessment: Findings Report has undergone an extensive community <br /> review period, and has been reviewed and discussed by the Human Services <br /> Commission and the City Council. <br /> HUMAN SERVICES COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION <br /> That the City Council approve the Eastern Alameda County 2011 Human Services <br /> Needs Assessment: Findings Report. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> That the City Council approve the Eastern Alameda County 2011 Human Services <br /> Needs Assessment: Findings Report. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no fiscal impact. <br />
