CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> AS BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE <br />LEMOINE RANCH ESTATES GEOLOGIC HAZARD ABATEMENT DISTRICT <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. GHAD-03-004 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING OFFICERS FOR THE <br />LEMOINE RANCH ESTATES GEOLOGIC HAZARD <br />ABATEMENT DISTRICT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />on April 15, 2003, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 03-027, approving <br />the formation of a geologic hazard abatement district ("GHAD") for the Lemoine <br />Ranch Estates area and appointing itself to act as the Board of Directors of the <br />GHAD; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, <br /> <br />pursuant to Public Resources Code Sections 26548 and 26585, the Board must <br />appoint a Clerk and a Treasurer of the GHAD, and pursuant to Public Resources <br />Code Section 26586, the Board may appoint other officers of the GHAD and <br />delegate thereto such powers as may be appropriate in the circumstances. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE LEMO1NE RANCH ESTATES <br />GEOLOGIC HAZARD ABATEMENT DISTRICT RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: <br /> <br />The Board hereby appoints the City Finance Director to act as the Treasurer for <br />the GHAD. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Board hereby appoints the City Clerk to act as the Clerk of the GHAD. <br /> <br />Section 3: <br />Section 4: <br />Section 5: <br /> <br />The Board hereby appoints the City Attorney to act as the General Counsel of the <br />GHAD. <br /> <br />The Board hereby appoints the Public Works Director to act as District <br />Geologist/General Manager of the GHAD. <br /> <br />The Board hereby delegates to the General Manager of the Lemoine Estates <br />Ranch GHAD, the following powers of the GHAD: <br /> <br /> <br />
