08 <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2020 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF LYNN JANSEN FOR REZONING, AS FILED <br /> UNDER CASE PRZ-59 <br /> WHEREAS, Lynn Jansen has applied to rezone an approximately 3.0 acre portion of <br /> an existing approximately 4.0 acre parcel (APN 946-3477-001-00) from the A (Agricultural) <br /> zoning district to PUD-MDR (Planned Unit Development — Medium Density Residential) zoning <br /> district; and <br /> WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a Negative Declaration was <br /> adopted by City Council on July 19, 2011; and <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of July 19, 2011, the City Council received the Planning <br /> Commission's unanimous recommendation for approval of the rezoning; and <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on July 19, 2011; and, <br /> WHEREAS, after review of the materials presented, the City Council determined that <br /> the rezoning is consistent with the General Plan adopted on July 21, 2009. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES <br /> THEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. Approves the rezoning of an approximately three (3) acre portion of an <br /> existing approximately four (4) acre parcel (APN 946-3477-001-00) located at 1623 Cindy Way <br /> to PUD-MDR (Planned Unit Development— Medium Density Residential). <br /> SECTION 2. The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file <br /> with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the city into zoning districts is hereby amended by <br /> Zoning Unit Map No, 477, attached hereto as Exhibit A, dated July 19, 2011, and incorporated <br /> herein by this reference. <br /> SECTION 3. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) <br /> days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general circulation published in <br /> the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be posted for fifteen (15) days in the <br /> City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its adoption. <br /> SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its passage and <br /> adoption. <br /> The foregoing Ordinance was introduced at the regular meeting the City Council of the <br /> City of Pleasanton on July 19, 2011 by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Cook-Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Thorne, Mayor Hosterman <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain:None <br />
