CITY OF PLEASANTON COUNTY OF ALAMEDA STATE OF CALiFOF~NI~ RI='SFI LUTIO b! hI~ i RESOLUTION OF ~E CI~ CO~CIL OF ~E CI~ OF PL~SANTON AC~O~EDGING ~E RECEIPT OF NOTICE OF INTENTION TO C~C~TE A PETITION FOR ~E ~TION OF TERRITORY DESIG~TED AS "~TION NO. 25, ~R VALLEY ~EX B", AND AN ~FIDAVIT OF P~LICATION ~EOF A~ ~PROVING ~ CIRC~TION OF ~E PETITION. ~e City Council does hereby find the following facts: On Fehr~ry 25, 1963, there was filed with the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton a copy of a notice of intention to circulate a petition relating to annexation of certain territory to the City of Pleasanton, under the Annexation Act of 1913, pertaining to territory designated as "Annexation No. 25, ~dor Valley Annex B%'. Receipt of said notice of intent was acknowle~e by the City Council on February 25, 1963. On ~rch 4, 1963, there was filed an affidavit of publication of said notice in "~E TI~S" in the February 27, 1963 issue of said newspaper. Accordingly, pursuant to the Annexation Act of 1913 for inhabited territory, the City Council my adopt a resolution approving the circulation of a petition calling for a hearing and an election for said annexation. NOW, ~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton: 1. ~e receipt of the notice, statement and affidavit is hereby acknowledged. 2. Approval is hereby given for the circulation of the petition for annexation of that territory designated as "Annexation No. 25, ~ador Valley Annex BP, twenty-one days after the publication of said notice and statement, to wit; on March 21, 1963. 3. ~at a description of said proposed territory be annexed as follows: (SEE EXHIBIT A, DATED: March 4, 1963.
