' CITY OF PLEASANTO:" ; <br /> COUNTY OF ALAM <br /> STATE OF <br /> <br /> I~ESOLUTION NO 8870 <br /> <br /> ~RgAS, Congressman John Baldwin of Hartinez, California, <br />is attempting to cause the new Veterans .Administration Hospital <br />at Martinez, California, to be named the '~CHARLES C. McGONEGAL <br />MEMORIAL HOSPITAL'; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the late CHARLES C. McGONEGAL was a veteran and <br />resident of Sunol; and <br /> <br /> W/4EREAS, said CHARLES C. M~GONEGAL did serve this community <br /> <br />well and endear himself to the residents of the entire area; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council of the City of Pleasanton does hereby <br />support and urge the Congress and the Veterans Administration <br />in naming the new hospital in memory of CHARLES C. McGONEGAL. <br /> <br /> 2.
