THE CITY OF <br /> 02 <br /> pL£ASANTON, CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> May 3, 2011 <br /> Assistant City Manager <br /> TITLE: APPROVE THE ANNUAL ACTION PLAN (2011 -12) FOR THE USE OF <br /> FEDERAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) FUNDS <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Pleasanton is expected to receive approximately $250,000 in federal CDBG funds for <br /> federal Fiscal Year 2011 (2011/12). At the meeting of April 19, the Council took action <br /> regarding the allocation of federal CDBG funds for FY 2011 as part of the allocation of <br /> Housing and Human Services Grant (HHSG) funding to local non - profit agencies. This <br /> report summarizes the Annual Action Plan that must be submitted to HUD in order for <br /> the City to receive its FY 2011 allocation of CDBG funds. The report makes a <br /> recommendation to approve these documents. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve the Annual Action Plan for federal Fiscal Year 2011 and direct staff to submit to <br /> HUD by the applicable deadline. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The approval of the annual Action Plan will not have a direct fiscal impact on the City. <br /> As noted earlier, the City expects to receive approximately $250,000 in CDBG funds for <br /> FY 2011 (2011/12). <br />
