THE CITY OF 01 <br /> #' "" CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLE ASANTON® <br /> May 3, 2011 <br /> Mayor and City Council <br /> TITLE: COMMISSION AND COMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS <br /> SUMMARY <br /> In accordance with commission appointment policies, in the spring and fall the City <br /> solicits applications from interested Pleasanton residents to serve on the City's standing <br /> commissions and committees, as well as on regional boards and commissions to which <br /> the City appoints representatives. <br /> This spring, the City solicited applications to fill vacancies for terms expiring on April 30, <br /> 2011. Applications were received and interviews held. The Mayor's appointments are <br /> listed on the following page. To ensure continuity in service to the extent possible, the <br /> Mayor has included those commissioners who, as a result of other openings, are <br /> changing status from alternates to regular members. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> The Council is asked to ratify the Mayor's appointments to various City commissions <br /> and committees as listed on the attached table. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no fiscal impact. <br /> Approve by: <br /> Nelson Fialho <br /> City Manager <br />
