CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1209 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO 1176 REGARDING CITY <br /> COUNCIL SALARIES <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1176 is hereby amended to <br /> read as follows: <br /> <br /> "Pursuant to Sections 36516 and 36516.6 of the <br /> Government Code, and based upon the population of the <br /> City of Pleasanton on the date this ordinance becomes <br /> effective, the salary of each member of the City Council <br /> is hereby increased to Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00) <br /> per month." <br /> <br /> Section 2: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "The Tri-Valley Herald," a <br /> newspaper of general circulation published in the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City <br /> of Pleasanton on July 16, 1985. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton on August 6, 1985 by the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Mohr and Wood <br /> NOES: None <br /> <br /> ABSTAIN: None ~/ <br /> <br /> ATTEST: . ~ <br /> F~ANK C.
