RESOLUTION NO. 11-425 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> DELEGATING AUTHORITY TO THE CITY ENGINEER TO ACCEPT DEEDS AND <br /> GRANTS CONVEYING ANY INTEREST IN REAL PROPERTY FOR THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON <br /> WHEREAS, Government Code §27281 allows the City Council to delegate authority to <br /> designated City staff to accept conveyances of real property; and <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 89 -31, the City Council previously delegated this <br /> authority to the City Manager, which authority the City Council leaves intact; and <br /> WHEREAS, now in the interests of efficiency, the City Council additionally grants <br /> authority to the City Engineer to accept grants of fee, easement, or any other interest in real <br /> property for the City. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. The City Council authorizes the City Engineer to accept deeds or grants <br /> conveying any interest in real property to the City of Pleasanton. <br /> SECTION 2. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into <br /> the book of original resolutions. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on March 15, 2011. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 15 day of March, <br /> 2011 by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Cook- Kallio, McGovern, Sullivan, Mayor Hosterman <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: Councilmember Thorne <br /> _ o! <br /> Kare ■iaz, City Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> J Lowell, City Attorney <br />
