RESOLUTION NO. 11 -424 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ACCEPTING INTO THE CITY STREET SYSTEM PORTIONS OF STREETS WITHIN THE VINEYARD AVENUE CORRIDOR SPECIFIC PLAN AREA AND THE BERNAL PROPERTY SPECIFIC PLAN AREA WHEREAS, pursuant to Streets & Highways Code §1806(b), the City Council must accept streets and roads into the City street system; and WHEREAS, to eliminate any confusion with the Alameda County Recorder's Office, the City Council is formally accepting into the City street system portions of streets within the Vineyard Avenue Corridor Specific Plan area, as well as the Bernal Property Specific Plan area. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1. The City Council accepts into the City street system those portions of streets described as: (A) Pleasanton Avenue northeast from the intersection of Laguna Creek Lane and Valley Avenue; and (B) new Vineyard Avenue between Clara Lane and Machedo Place, as shown more particularly in the attached Exhibits A and B, incorporated herein by this reference; and directs City staff to record the same with the Alameda County Recorder's Office, as needed. SECTION 2. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the book of original resolutions. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on March 15, 2011.
