City of Pleasanton <br /> SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT <br /> SUMMARY <br /> On August 17, 2010, the City Council approved a settlement agreement concerning the <br /> March 12, 2010 Superior Court ruling in the Urban Habitat v. City of Pleasanton litigation <br /> that disposed of all remaining causes of action and pending lawsuits relating to the Urban <br /> Habitat litigation. On October 19, 2010, the City Council appointed Mayor Hosterman <br /> and Councilmember McGovern to act as a subcommittee for the purpose of monitoring <br /> the status of actions required as part of the Settlement Agreement. As part of its ongoing <br /> action, the subcommittee determined it would be appropriate to report to the City Council <br /> regarding the status of matters completed to date and future items. Included as <br /> Attachment A, is a listing of all major Settlement Agreement actions and an indication of <br /> their current status. As indicated in the attachment, to date all required actions have been <br /> completed on time and in accordance with the Settlement Agreement. This report <br /> provides an update on future actions. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> This is an informational item provided for City Council review. No formal action is <br /> anticipated. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There's no financial impact resulting from this report. <br />
