RESOLUTION NO. 11 -419 <br /> A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br /> AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO AMEND THE MANAGEMENT AND <br /> CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEE COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS PLAN TO REQUIRE <br /> EMPLOYEES TO CONTRIBUTE 4% TOWARDS EMPLOYER PAID MEMBER <br /> CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT <br /> SYSTEM <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager appoints department heads, middle- management and <br /> confidential employees; and <br /> WHEREAS, this group of employees are covered by the Management and Confidential <br /> Employee Compensation and Benefits Plan. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY: <br /> SECTION 1. Authorize the City Manager to amend the Management and Confidential <br /> Employee Compensation and Benefits Plan dated August 2010 to require employees to <br /> contribute 4% towards the Employer Paid Member Contribution of the California Public <br /> Employees Retirement System. <br /> SECTION 2.
