PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2002-24 <br />RESOLUTION REGARDING GENERAL PLAN CONSISTENCY FOR THE <br />SALE OF THE ALAMEDA COUNTY TRANSPORTATION CORRIDOR <br />BETWEEN BERNAL AVENUE AND STANLEY BOULEVARD <br />WHEREAS, Alameda County Public Works Agency has been directed by the State <br />Road Fund Auditors to sell the portion of the Alameda County <br />Transportation Corridor located between Bernal Avenue and Stanley <br />Boulevazd; and <br />WHEREAS, the property has vazious zoning designations; and <br />WHEREAS, at its duly noticed public hearing of Apri19, 2002, the Planning <br />Commission considered all public testimony, relevant exhibits, and <br />recommendations of the City staff concerning this application; and <br />WHEREAS, determinations of General Plan conformity does not require any <br />environmental assessment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Determines that the Alameda County's intended sale of the portion of the <br />Alameda County Transportation Corridor (Road Fund Property) located <br />between Bernal Avenue and Stanley Boulevard would not be consistent with <br />Pleasanton's General Plan if sold for any use other than atransportation- <br />related use, but it would be consistent with the Pleasanton General Plan if it <br />is sold for transportation-related purposes. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective 15 days after its passage and adoption <br />unless appealed prior to that time. <br />
