<br />PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. PC-2002-21 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR THE <br />APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON TO AMEND THE PLEASANTON <br />MUNICIPAL CODE, AS FILED UNDER CASE PRZ-08 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has filed an application to amend the Pleasanton Municipal <br />Code to require the reuse or recycling of a minimum of 50 percent of the debris <br />generated from new construction and demolition projects; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 27, 2002, the Planning Commission received a proposed <br />negative declaration prepared for Case PRZ-08; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of <br />the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the <br />applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that approval of the proposed project would not <br />have any significant adverse effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for Case PRZ-08, the <br />application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Pleasanton Municipal Code to <br />require the reuse or recycling of a minimum of 50 percent of the debris generated <br />from new construction and demolition projects. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br />This resolution shall become effective immediately upon passage and adoption. <br />
