CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1118 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF AMADOR VALLEY INVESTORS <br /> TO REZONE APPROXIMATELY 21.7 ACRES LOCATED APPROXIMATELY <br /> 1650 FEET EAST OF THE EXISTING EASTElM TERMINUS OF <br /> WEST LAS POSITAS BOULEVARD FROM "A" (AGRICULTURAL) <br /> TO THE R-1-6500 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT <br /> <br />~EREAS, George Oakes (Amador Valley Investors) applied to <br /> have an approximately 21.7 acre parcel located <br /> approximately 1,650 feet east of the existing eastern <br /> terminus of West Las Positas Boulevard from the <br /> "A" (Agricultural) Distroct to the R-1-6500 (Single- <br /> family Residential) District; and <br /> <br />~EREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating <br /> no significant adverse effects on the environment <br /> a negative declaration was adopted by Council on <br /> December 6, 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommenda- <br /> tion for approval of the rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on December 6, <br /> 1983; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this rezoning is <br /> consistent with the General Plan policies of the <br /> City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 21.7 acre <br /> parcel located approximately 1,650 feet east of the <br /> existing eastern terminus of West Las Positas Boulevard <br /> from the "A" (Agricultural) District to the R-1-6500 <br /> (Single-family Residential) District pursuant to the <br /> staff report (SR 83:555). <br /> <br />Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated <br /> April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, <br /> designating and dividing the City into zoning <br /> districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map #278, <br /> attached hereto as Exhibit "A" dated December 6, 1983, <br /> and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of <br /> Determination to be filed pursuant to Section <br /> 5.4(g) of Resolution No. 77-66. <br /> <br /> <br />
