CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 1118 APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF AMADOR VALLEY INVESTORS TO REZONE APPROXIMATELY 21.7 ACRES LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 1650 FEET EAST OF THE EXISTING EASTElM TERMINUS OF WEST LAS POSITAS BOULEVARD FROM "A" (AGRICULTURAL) TO THE R-1-6500 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT ~EREAS, George Oakes (Amador Valley Investors) applied to have an approximately 21.7 acre parcel located approximately 1,650 feet east of the existing eastern terminus of West Las Positas Boulevard from the "A" (Agricultural) Distroct to the R-1-6500 (Single- family Residential) District; and ~EREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study indicating no significant adverse effects on the environment a negative declaration was adopted by Council on December 6, 1983; and WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's recommenda- tion for approval of the rezoning; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on December 6, 1983; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this rezoning is consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of Pleasanton. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 21.7 acre parcel located approximately 1,650 feet east of the existing eastern terminus of West Las Positas Boulevard from the "A" (Agricultural) District to the R-1-6500 (Single-family Residential) District pursuant to the staff report (SR 83:555). Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map #278, attached hereto as Exhibit "A" dated December 6, 1983, and incorporated herein by reference. Section 3: The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of Determination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4(g) of Resolution No. 77-66.
