AMENDMENT TO <br /> PROMISSORY NOTE SECURED BY DEED OF TRUST <br /> This Amendment is made as of this 28th day of December, 1988, by and <br /> between Eden Housing, Inc., a California nonprofit corporation "EHI and the <br /> City of Pleasanton, California, a municipal corporation "City <br /> In order to induce the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development to <br /> approve the Housing Development Grant loan made by the City to EHI, and for <br /> other valuable consideration the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby <br /> acknowledged, EHI and the City agree as follows: <br /> That certain Promissory Note dated June 27, 1988 in the principal amount <br /> of Four Million and No /100th Dollars ($4,000,000.00) executed by EHI as the <br /> borrower for the City as the holder is hereby amended by deleting the <br /> repayment provision in the third and fourth sentences in the first paragraph <br /> and inserting therein, the following: <br /> No payments of principal shall be due or payable until January 1, <br /> 2011.
