ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> THE CITY OF <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pL£ ASANTON® <br /> May 5, 2009 Apfil=7100 <br /> Community Development <br /> Planning Division <br /> TITLE: PAP 133 /PMCC -2, GILCHRIST RUTTER, VINEYARD VILLA <br /> CONSIDER AN APPEAL OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION'S DENIAL <br /> OF AN APPLICATION FOR A VESTING TENTATIVE MAP <br /> CONVERTING A 208 -UNIT MOBILE HOME PARK LOCATED AT <br /> 3263 VINEYARD AVENUE INTO RESIDENTIAL CONDOMINIUM UNITS <br /> PROPERTY OWNER: The Guggenheim Company <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The owner of the Vineyard Villa Mobile Home Park is asking the City Council to overturn <br /> the Planning Commission's decision to deny its vesting tentative map application to <br /> convert the Park from a park where the residents rent all the spaces to one where <br /> residents may own their own lots. <br /> There is both support and opposition from residents within the Mobile Home Park. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Staff recommends the City Council adopt a resolution upholding the appeal, thereby <br /> approving the application (please see Attachment 1), subject to the conditions listed in <br /> Exhibit A of Attachment 1. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> No fiscal impact on the City is anticipated. There could potentially be some increased <br /> property taxes that the City would receive once the lots begin to sell. <br />
