/- <br /> <br />REQUESTING ;CONTINUANCE OF VOLK-McLAIN <br />COMMUNITIES, INC. APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENT <br />TO ALAMEDA COUNTY GENERAL PLAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Volk-McLain Communities Inc. has requested a rezonin <br />~f property southwesterly of Interstate Route 580 and Hopyard Road, <br />~nd an amendment to the Alameda County General Plan for said area; <br />~nd <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Church of Latter Day Saints of Jesus Christ has <br />~equested similar action on property lying south of Interstate <br />Route 580 and east of Hopyard Road; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The City of Pleasanton is in the process of holding <br />the legal required hearings for approval of a master plan covering <br />the same area; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, one of the above matters has already been continued <br />for further discussion to M~rch 8, 1965; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. The City Council of the City of Pleasanton does hereby <br />respectfully request the Alameda County Planning Commission to <br />continue the Volk-McLain Communities, Inc. application for rezoning <br />property northerly of the City of Pleasanton to a date when all <br />matters can be heard. <br /> <br /> 2. The City of Pleasanton sugests March 8, 1965, would be <br />the proper date. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> 3.
