CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1501 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> JOSEPH W. C~TNa~uAN, JR. FOR REZONING AND <br /> DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL AS FILED UNDER CASE <br /> PUD-90-20 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Joseph W. Callahan, Jr. has applied for development plan <br /> approval for construction of 21 single-family detached <br /> dwelling units and 15 townhomes to be located on an <br /> approximately 4.26 acre site and rezone the site from <br /> General Industrial zoning district to PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development) - High Density Residential District, said <br /> site is located at the southwest corner of the Rheem <br /> Drive/Oakland Avenue intersection (APN 946-4550-015); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative <br /> declaration was adopted by Council on March 5, 1991; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendations for approval of the development plan and <br /> rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on March 5, 1991; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this development plan and <br /> zoning are consistent with the General Plan policies of <br /> the City of Pleasanton; <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the rezoning of an approximately 4.2 acre <br /> site located at the southwest corner of the Rheem <br /> Drive/Oakland Avenue intersection (APN 946-4550-015) to <br /> the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - High Density <br /> Residential District. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasant0n dated <br /> April 18, 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating <br /> and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby <br /> amended by Zoning Unit Map No. 397, attached hereto as <br /> Exhibit "A" dated March 5, 1991, and incorporated herein <br /> by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
