CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PL/ASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1514 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 11.20 OF THE <br /> PT~ASANTON MUNICIPAL CODE REGARDING SPEED <br /> LTMITS ON VARIOUS STREETS <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Chapter 11.20 (Speed Limits), Section 11.20.020 <br /> (Decrease in state law maximum speed) is amended to read <br /> as follows: <br /> <br /> Amend: <br /> <br /> Section E(3) <br /> <br /> "On Hopyard Road from West Las Positas Boulevard to Owens <br /> Drive, the speed limit shall be forty-five miles per <br /> hour." <br /> <br /> Add: <br /> <br /> Section E(4) <br /> <br /> "On Hopyard Road from Owens Drive to the north Pleasanton <br /> city limit line the speed limit shall be forty miles per <br /> hour." <br /> <br />Section 2: This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "The Tri-Valley Herald," <br /> a newspaper of general circulation published in the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Section 3: This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on July 16, 1991. <br /> <br /> <br />
