CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1610 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF <br /> PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY/SIGNATURE <br /> PROPERTIES FOR DEVELOPMENT PLAN APPROVAL AS <br /> FILED UNDER CASE PUD-81-30-55D <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Prudential Insurance Company/Signature Properties has <br /> applied for development plan approval to construct a <br /> 496-unit residential development consisting of 178 <br /> small-lot single-family detached units and 318 townhouse <br /> and condominium units proposed on an approximately 52.7 <br /> acre site (Lots 8A, 8B, and 26) located within the <br /> Hacienda Business Park; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development) <br /> - HDR (High Density Residential) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, based on the Initial Environmental Study, a negative <br /> declaration was adopted by Council on October 12, 1993; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the Planning Commission's <br /> recommendations for approval of the development plan; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, duly noticed public hearings were held on September 21, <br /> 1993 and October 12, 1993; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed project is <br /> consistent with the General Plan policies of the City of <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the development plan to allow the construction <br /> of a 496-unit residential development consisting of 178 <br /> small-lot single-family detached units and 318 townhouse <br /> and condominium units proposed on an approximately 52.7 <br /> acre site (Lots 8A, 8B, and 26) located within the <br /> Hacienda Business Park, subject to the conditions shown <br /> on "Exhibit B", attached hereto and incorporated herein <br /> by this reference. <br /> <br /> Section 2: The City staff is directed to cause a Notice of <br /> Determination to be filed pursuant to Section 5.4(g) of <br /> Resolution No. 77-66. <br /> <br /> <br />
